School-based Clinical Work

In my school-based clinical work, I work with individual clients to develop functional skills like self-regulation, motor skills and executive functioning. I support teachers in making the curriculum more accessible, and developing practical ways they might help students to thrive. I also work with parents to discuss the best ways to support their children at home.

Home-based Clinical Work

I offer the option of working with clients in a home setting. How therapy looks will depend on the client's interests and how your home is set up: We might play games, bake something, or play outside. This work may also involve leaving the home and going to the park, taking public transport, going to a restaurant, or completing a task like buying a gift. Through engaging in these different occupations, my clients are continuously developing a set of essential skills in a real-world setting. I keep an open line of communication with parents, and view us as collaborators in this work.

Coaching

I offer one-on-one sessions with parents and teachers to help them understand and support the different needs and attributes they might come across in the classroom or the home. I also provide mentoring services to fellow therapists. Feel free to contact me if either of these are of interest.

Workshops

In the past, I have offered workshops on neurodiversity and how to be more neurodiversity-affirming in everyday life; understanding the nervous system and sensory processing, or how to support skills like handwriting, executive functioning and regulation with a neuro-affirming lens. Feel free to contact me with your specific workshop needs or interests.

Community-based Workshops

I have a strong interest in neurodiversity-affirming community-based work, in which neurotypicals partner with the neurodiverse to collaborate on projects and solve problems together. In this work, we would explore what it means to have radical empathy for those whose experiences and perspectives are very different from our own. If you, your business or organisation is interested in partnering with me on this exploratory work, please feel free to contact me to discuss.
